About Me

Animated movies and television shows have always been one of my greatest teachers in life. Through the art of visuals and storytelling animation presented me with life lessons that I did not know at the time would be crucial in shaping me into who I am today. There are many movies and television shows that I love, but one that stands out, and the one that started it all for me was Disney’s A Goofy Movie. It had everything from humor, and serious conversations to music. The scene that stands out the most to me is the final number with Powerline at the concert. Visually from the color changing lights, and flashing strobes to the choreography, and the song I2I it had it all. Walking out of movie theaters I had always noticed the joy movies have brought to people, and I want a to have a hand in bringing that same joy and life lessons movies have given to me other the years to others. My newfound passion for this medium is what helped me decide to pursue a degree in the field of Animation and VFX at the Academy of Art University.

In my time at the Academy, I have developed an understanding in a variety of programs: Photoshop, Maya, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Unreal Engine. As a Producing Major I have become proficient in: Shotgrid, Microsoft and Google office suites. These programs and the class that teach them have been invaluable in helping me prepare for a career in Animation and VFX. From the time spent in these classes and what I have learned, my path has become clear. The skills I have learned at the Academy coupled with life experience though different companies I have chosen to pursue a career the Production side of the industry. My time management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills that I have I believe make me a great fit for a Production position.
